I bought a full JDM front clip from an 89 Alltrac turbo with the 3s-gte 2.0 turbo and a 5 speed, i currently have a 1990 GTS Automatic with the 2.2L 5fse engine in it, and im converting it to left hand drive, front wheel drive, 5 speed, sounds like fun eh?

Yup. Most Japanese cars come out first in Japan before they come out here in North America. So yeah, his '89 gtfour is actually a 5th generation celica all-trac.
EDIT: Hopefully, he found a fwd tranny to do the 5 speed swap with.
He bought a front clip from a gtfour. So he's gonna do a rhd drive conversion using the parts off the clip. So basically, he is doing what many people have done. A 3sgte motor swap, but going the extra mile by doing a rhd conversion too.
you still have to move stuff under the hood around, im keeping the gts body but the stuff under the hood in the clip is set up for right hand, so i have to move it to left hand drive, but it is the basic swap but just going in a couple odd directions like converting from all wheel to front, etc.

Thats true, but it really is just a basic swap. Not much different from most people who have done the swap. The only thing really different is the auto to manual. Most people would already have a car with the standard transmission.
can ne one tell me how much trouble it is converting auto to stick and when u get the 3s-gte that comes with the tranny is it the 4 wheel drive or do u get to choose. thanks
