I just got my 86 celica gt and I'm having trouble finding parts.
I need to find the hose that connects the throttle body and the air filter. I shopped everywhere, but I could'nt find a part that would fit. Please help.

Not quite sure which hose you're talking about, whats the diameter?

I guess 2 1/2 " throttle body end . And about 2 3/4 " to the air filter end. The middle is "folded like" |||||| , that is where my crack is , that is currently duct taped up.

the duct tape was done by a profesional shop too !

Haha, iits called an intake hose, most parts places keep them behind the counter so you've gotta ask for it.

Every store i went to said they didn't carry the part. Do you know of as place i can order the hose, cause Toyota rep told me $130 without shipping. I also had to bring them the part. All stores and mechanics said only dealer ship or junk yard, is where i could find it. I figured someone on here would be able to help me.
