Question buying car

MY question has been, should i build up my 91 celica st. I hear there is alot of work and money that will need to be spent. What i have decided is to purchase an all trac. The main purpose for this car will be daily driving with the occasional 1/4 track and speeding down winding roads. What model should i search for? What year did it come out? I like my celica so maybe the same model would be nice? any suggestions on a car.......

Unless you plan on swapping the motor, the Celica (minus the alltrac/gt4) is not a drag car. I personally like the 6th gens (94-99) and the 4th gens (86-89) the most out of all of them... Both gens are light, have decent suspension set-ups, and have good engine swap or build-up potential. It all depends on your taste. If you wanna go drag, either you swap or try and find an alltrac.
