hey what do you guys think about this site?? i was looking mainly at the short block for the 5sfe rebuild...something worth the money? if you lowered the compression it would be a good canidate for a turbo no?

it's very worth it, I am looking to order from there.......

$1900 for a 5SFE with Pauter Rods (good for 700whp before they break) and knife-edging the crank.

It seems like an alright deal, you could probably have it built for a bit less on your own. The thing is, if you're planning on going turbo in the future, maybe you should save a bit more and go the 3SGTE route, find a 2nd gen clip and take it from there. After you've spent all the money on building the 5SFE with a good turbo and supporting mods, you'd probably be at about the same place cost wise, but further behind performance and reliability wise.

Just my $0.02.
