Anyone changed out an oil pan??

Okay, I've got an 89 celica GT (3SFE engine) and my wife was driving it and smacked bottom pretty hard on a dip and now it's leaking some oil. I went down underneath and saw that the oil pan was smashed in and I think it shifted the gasket a little bit so now it's leaking. It seems easy to replace an oil pan and the gasket, but when I looked at my repair book it says I have to take out all these other things, rather than just pop the oil pan and gasket off and replace them. Is that true, or should it be a real easy pop-off and pop back on job? Also, is it bad if my car is running at the right temp, but when I shut it off I can hear the antifreeze bubbling? Thanks for your help guys!!

I believe the oil pan just drop off, nothing attatched.
Coolant bubbling is bad. They're boiling. Either its not pressurizing and have a leak or you got air in the system or blown head gasket. Maybe the temp sensor not working so it doesn't show warning. Also you may just need a new rad.

I think I do need a new radiator because my wife and I were driving up the canyon once here near town and we had to drive up a pretty steep hill. I was running it at pretty high rpms to get up the hill and we even had to stop a couple times because the temp gauge was saying the coolant was getting real hot. I think I just need a new radiator.

Hey, thanks for the help with the oil pan. I though it just popped up, too. I'll take a closer look. Thanks again!

Or just fill the gap with sealant so it doesn't leak oil anymore. You need to remove all old sealant and apply new one to seal if you remove the oil pan.

I hear bubbling sounds from somewhere deep behind the center console of my 00 Celica GT when I engage 1st gear (manual tranny). Does this sound like a coolant-caused noise?
