getting low end power out of 86 gt auto

Ok, the 2s-e engine isn't going to break any dyno records, but it's what I have so, any ideas on how to make it pick up off the line a little better?

What are you talking about? Have you ever seen the power curve for an LS1 or the S/C 4.6L DOHC Cobra motor?

You could aslo try advancing the timing a bit and doing a tuneup if needed. Aside from that, cams.

I would say the SC limited power on highend. Turbo it and see what happen.

4-2-1 header. Remove as much stuff as you can in the car. Seats, carpet, junk.

Hi, I have a 88 celica GT-S and the only race ive ever lost was to my bro's supra and my other bro's trans-am....which has a 4.3 liter V8 might I add. Anyways...I blew the original engine (3s-ge) and bought a 3s-fe, now i need the wiring harness....does anyone know where to get one, or does anyone have one? please let me know!
thank you,

The Trans Am has never come with a 4.3L V8.
Did he take out the original motor and drop in the Vortec 4300? That would be the most retarded thing in the history of mankind.

Trans Ams have always been either 305 or 350 ci V8s, IIRC.

I was just thinking of a smaller diameter tire to increase gearing and get rid of weight to increase the accell off the line, and yes I go know about a cobra power curve and I havent found anything with an ls1 that will kick my cobras ass since I put a 6 speed and a blower with 4/11 gears into it
