3s for sure, it came with both the fe and the ge head and are 2000 cc, the 5s only came with the fe head and was 2200 cc but i cant remember when it replaced the 3sfe
sweet... i asked my friend, and he told me the ST has a sissy engine or something.... cause if i was to get one, it needs to have a 5sfe... or i will not sleep well at night

OK, your gearing must be alot lower than in the GTs. You are redlining it in 5th, which I STILL can't do in mine, with lotsa mods and nitrous. But I can push the speedo over like that at about 5500rpm. I think I have gotten my car up to ALMOST 6k in 5th, and got a ticket for 135 for doing it.

Hows the 4A-FE engine, as far as reliability is? i mean, compared to a 5sfe in power/durrability and 22r (not like it can fit in a celica, i just want a basic drawing bored grounds here)
the 4af in my 89 corolla lasted 220k+ miles with no engine work at all(except water pump and 1 timing belt change) i knew the orig owner and had the whole cars history and it was running when i sold it.
the 4afe in my celica has 170k miles and runs great!
