cupholder, how to open

I see that there may be a cupholder in the '91 GT-S but I can't seem to open it. Is there a switch or a button somewhere? I saw in one post that it may be a fuse but I don't have a owners manual yet so I don't know which fuse it is plus everything else seems to be working now.

Pull shifter cover up. Remove 4 bolts around radio cover. You can then get the deck and cupholder out.

Its mostly for runs to the fast food restarant to hold the soda till we get home.
I have one in my Tacoma and if I hit a bump I have a windshield full of coffee or soda stains.

Last installment on this post.
I had a stereo put in tonight and asked them to pull the cup holder open since I thought it was stuck. The guy told me it had no rails and that is why it would not come out. I of course forgot to ask if there was even a cup holder in there but I think there was, he would of mentioned that. It looks like somebody tried to repair the stereo and broke the darn cup holder. Oh well guess I'll go thirsty.
