insurance for celica?

hello everyone,
I am thinking of getting a celica gt-s (2000+ model). Can anyone give me an approximation to how much the insurance cost will be for a 20 year old w/ clean record and the type of coverage and company? i'm just curious 'cus i have a 02 camry($900/year full coverage AAA) right now. And would want a rough estimate of how much more the insurance would be for a celica. thanks

Before I got my DUI I was paying about 120 a month with 21 century for full coverage. Best and easiest thing to do is call AAA and get a quote

gt is around 1200, gts will be around 1500-1800, clean coverage won't say anything depend on how's your insurance company is.

That makes me want to ask if I'm getting ripped off. I'm paying about $100/year on insurance for my '82 Celica GT. Is that way too much for such an old car? Also I've trimmed down the insurance to bear minimums (no retal car, towing, etc)

yes sir, that was before I bought my camry. I called nationwide got a quote for a gts 01, and I got 1600 for max coverage. ( i didn't have any ticket, and the insurance was under my dad with the house too.)

Cool

Since you're a 20yo male it doesn't matter what you drive, you're paying on age and experiance.

The spread it costs me to get insurance on an '89 mazda B2200, '93 Corolla, '99 Protege ES, '93 ES 300, '99 F150 and a '00 LS400 per 6 months are all within $80 of each other.

omg... AAA is insane... 2400/year on the online quote. $1400 just on insuring the collision damage ($500 deductible). $800 for the liability section. and the rest is for the other non-collision stuff for the car. -__- so expensive

Good advice^.
I recently had my son and I on my Tacoma only and he is an extra 1300 a year on my policy. When I added the Celica I got a multi car discount and ACTUALLY got a $5 dollar reduction on my total cost. This was with AAA and also the Celica does not have collision which on a newer car you would want.
