84 celica gts brakes conversion

i wan wondering if there are any kind of rear b rake conversions, or swaps or upgrades for the 84 drum celicas. i need new drums, shoes and wheels cylinders on mine, and figured i might as well upgrade. i know the celica supra had all wheel disc, can those be used? thanks

There were only a few solid rears that had disc brakes. The AE86 (GTS model) 6.7" rears had discs, the 1st gen Celica Supras as you said has a big 7" rear with discs, and I think there may be one or two others. I'd with with the Celica Supra rear. As for a rear disc conversion, I know many have tried... but I'm not sure if any have really succeeded.

The AE86 is a direct swap into your Celica since they have the same rear end housing as the RWD Celicas.

Backing plate/spindle, axles, e-brake cables...
