92 Celica Overheating

Hey guys...

I have a 92 Celica GT, and now im noticing it overheating. Once it actually started steaming a tad bit. Now I filled it with coolant, but that lasted me a week until I checked again when my gauge was rising...the rad was bone dry again! After I drive...I check the engine bay and notice a bit of fluid spillage. However, I dont think its a leak b/c I dont see anything dripping. Any suggestions what it can be? Thanks a bunch =)

Check the coolant overflow bottle after a long drive. Check it while engine is running. Also check the top hose and see if its hard and pressurized. Check engine oil to see if there is water there. Check and see if the fan is running.
I had same problem and I need a new rad.

Get a pressure test done, usually runs about 20 bucks at any garage, I know thats what we charge, that includes a full diagnostic of the cooling system. That will almost definately get you a result
