oil leaking at spark plug

I pulled the boots off of the plugs today and found oil had seeped around the spark plug and boot in the first two plugs. looking at the car from the front it was the 1st and 2nd left to right. The two on the right side show no oil.
I had a '77 Corolla that did the same thing and I think i just need to replace the gaskets under the valve cover where the plug cylinders sit.
Looking at the diagrams in the BGB I just see cylinders surrounding the plugs and I think at the bottom of these cylinders is where the leaks are.
My question is how are these cylinders attached so I can replace the leaky seals beneath them.
thanks

You just need to replace the gasketS... S like in more than one.

There are two rubber gaskets for the valve cover and sparkplugs, the main one witch seals the whole valve cover and cilinders 1 and 4 and a second one that looks like a number 8 witch seal cilinders 2 and 3.

It's no big deal on the 5S-FE, believe me, just remove the screws and replace.

Are you suggesting picking up some copper gasket maker along with the gaskets?
I want to do it right.
It looks like I have to pull off a few more things just to get the valve cover off too. Still, not too big of a deal i hope.

Oh. The grommets just under the four screws are where its leaking? I thought it was at the bottom of the 4 spark plug tubes like my old Corolla.

On another note just went to the dealer and the parts guy was next to worthless. Did not care and did not know too much of anything. At that same dealership I have had nothing but helpful people before.
