st165 st185 swap ability

Just a curious couple of questions. I have an st165 with the water cooled intercooler and all and I'm wondering what parts from the st185 engine would fit onto my engine. found out the hard way the turbo and plumbing is differant. or maybe just scrap the older engine for the st185's, any problems anyone knows about?

it all depends on whats wrong with your engine to begine with. If it needs any religious changes (over 1300K) of work, i'd scrap the 165 for teh 185+parts! but the dude over was right; you'll get the best answer at alltrac.net
