One headlight out...

But the other headlight is on. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure this out. I went and got a new headlight before testing it (which was stupid) and found that with the new light, it still doesn't work. I did check both lights on the other connection for the other headlight and they both work fine, so it must lie with the wiring. I looked it over and it seems connected fine to me. I also don't think it's the fuse, due to the fact that one light is still on. As a side note, this occured after getting my car back from shop for taking care of it's previous oil leak. Also the yellow parking lights are all working fine. Anyone have any ideas on where I should look now? Thanks.

Chris

Edit: Forgot to mention that it's an '82 Toyotal Celica. I understand those pop-up lights can make a difference.

it seems like it would be a bad wire or plug at the headlight

Not familiar with the car myself but if it has relays I would look into those as well. Or you could clean the contacts of any plugs you see.

Go figure. There are two sets of fuses. One connects all the lights on the front of the car (another does the back), and then there are fuses that go through each of these lights. One of those latter ones went out. Thanks for the ideas though, guys. Next time I'll make sure to look more thoroughly at my car.
