Brake pad worn on one side

Hey,

I recently changed my front brake pads and noticed that on the Left pads, the inside pad was worn down to the metal, while the outside had about 1/3 of an inch.. Does that indicate any kind of problem?

And now I've got my new pads on, and I notice that the car is always braking when in neutral, (very slightly) Ie: it slows to a stop on the road instead of rolling freely when rolling in neutral down driveway.. ANDDD the car suddenly pulls to the right quite a bit. I think its the right pad thats touching when not pressing the brakes..

Final symptom: I also rotated tires, back to front in X shape.. and now steering wheel shakes pretty badly when driving at a pretty large range of speeds (40km/h - 120km/h)

Any advise?? I was hoping I could balance the tires, and that the pulling right would eventually go away..

thanks!

1.- FWD car tires should be rotated on a straight line pattern not an X pattern like you did, that was on RWD cars with non radial tires.

2.- One of the bolts that holds the brake caliper came loose and the pad is in constant contact with the rotor that's why your car is braking in neutral and the pads are getting worn unevenly. This happened to me on one of the rear discs, bolt was loose and was not grabbing the calipers properly so the pads where also somewhat loose except that in my case the pads wore out on the top and not the bottom. I had to resurface the rotor and change pads.
