It is a chain. How much would depend on the book time (which I dont know off the top of my head) and the labor rate in your area. Plus about $250 in parts.

How many miles have you put on that thing? Changing the chain is not like changing your regular timing belt, chains usually last a lifetime or until they bust.

Yea.. chains are good forever man... I wouldn't even worry about it unless you beat the living piss out of the engine and you have more than a 150,000 on the engine.. and at that point if you are beating it that hard i'm sure other shit is ready to fall apart on the motor.. otherwise 200K on the same chain is cool.
