Well since it was sooooooooo nice out today I decided to get some work done on the celica instead of working in the garage on my head. I ended up removing the heater hoses(with the sidedraft setup I can't have a heater) I put the sidedraft setup on without bolting anything up because I still have the 22R head on it and I have a 20R manifold(working on finishing building a 20R head). I also hooked up my oil filter relocate kit. You can see how nice the sidedrafts are going to look and how my relocate kit looks. It looks kind of messy right now but once I get the 20R head and the sidedrafts and header back on I wil do some cleaning and make it so only the things I NEED in there be in there.

Yeah they are weber 40mm DCOE. and the manifold is a cannon. I am currently porting and polishing my 20R head and then I am going to port match the manifold. Also putting in bigger stainless steel valves, LC engineering valve springs, TRD stage 2 cam and aluminum rocker arms and also putting in a mallory electric fuel pump and regulator. I think with that setup I will be moving along pretty good.

Sounds tuff, I don't know much about the hybrids, what sort of numbers and curve are you expecting?

I used to play with webers for years on many cars; if you really want to get the best performance, I suggest that you find some velocity stacks(air horns) for those DCOEs, then use motorcycle foam sock air cleaners.
Another big improvement is to replace the chokes(venturis)with 38mm units, you probably have 33mm now.
A real good source for these is at the hardware store, believe it or not, and are commercial electrical conduit connectors. My dad found this out while building an Alfa race motor way back, cheapest Weber parts ever, you do have to machine, or just carefully grind down the outside of the castings, cut to length. The jetting increase for doing this is .05mm per mm of venturi increase.
That should easily give another 25hp, no kidding.
I just like the way they sound.
