i have a 95 gt covertable, and a 95 stx with the strange 7inch speakers. i have looked around for 7inch 3 way speakers, but i cant seem to find any. is there a brand out there im not seeing, or do i half to cutt templats to fit in smaller?

Dude are you sure they arent 6 1/2 cause thats what i awas aware they were coming with... Its the speaker coil you measure not the frame and everything...

I think Toyota biggest round speaker is 6 1/2... I'd check again.
You can check the Crutchfield catalog to make sure ("What fits my car" section) thats where I go to anytime I'm in doubt about speaker sizes

when i did the stx ( putt in a new speakers) i removed them and took them to the local shop. they said they wher 7inch and they only made 7inch in a sub speaker. i didnt take his word for it thinking he was fos, so i purchased some 6 halfs and the where too small.i was hoping that someone has found ones that may fit. i dony know what package is in these cars but i have now got 2 strange speaker packages. to fix the stx i made templates and installed, but i was hoping that someone knew of a set that would fit.
