There are about ten different types of coolant available, the basic difference, apart from the colour, is their anti corosion ability, freezing/boiling temps and of course who makes it. Most are compatable with no ill effects but I believe that the Blue/green coolant is not compatable with 2 of Toyotas coolants (pink and red), Toyota have three different colours that I know of depending on what year the car was manufactured (the other being blue/green)
In 1994 Toyota Celicas used the red coolant

If you mix the two it can do things like corrode the rubber pipes etc (a long term effect) Your best bet would be to undo the drain plug and let all the old coolant out, the flush the system using regular water (i used a hosepipe stuck into one of the heater matrix pipes that passes into the bulkhead - be carefull not to confuse it with the aircon pipes). Once youe have flushed the system, reconnect evrything and fill up with the correct RED fluid, ready mixed from Toyota dealers use the bleed valves if you have any, then run the engine, this will pump the fluid round and hopefully get rid of any airgaps, top up as necessary.

the pink is dexcool and its crap, here they mostly put in chev & ford, the toy fluid use to be a brown fluid then they changed to a red, both will work with green, i have done like 500 rad flushes due to a old job i had. i wouldnt use prestone it can gum up your system, try peak i like it alot and use it in all my toys. how i do a fluch is remove the thermostat and reconect the rat houseing so you can run the car , turn on the heater , open the petcock on the radiator and put a garden hose in the radiator cap, and runn the car. this will insure that all the fluid is flushed out of the car. when the fluid comes out clean add strait antifreeze in the rad because you now have water in the block, this will give you a close 50/50 mix, but you need to check it to make sure. i run a 75/25 mix my self using more anti freeze. replace the thermostat with a new one and thake out the water reservoir and wash the crap out of it , it will hold drit and suck it in to the rad system.
