leather steering wheel rewrap?

The leather steering wheel on my gf's 1990 Celica are worn out and she seems don't like the idea of using steering wheel cover to cover it up. The price for the new leather steering wheel is almost CAD$2000 (Quote from don vally north toyota).

Just want to ask, is there anybody in here have their leather steering wheel rewrap?
Or any recommand place/shop for leather steering wheel rewrap?

Go to shop that do leather uphostery, like seat covers. They can fix it cheap. Or just get aftermarket steering wheel.
