USA what is needed?

if i got some coilovers or lowering springs for a 90-93 celica...what would i need to put them onto my 89 ST? cuz i know lots of people have done it before. thanks for any help.

few sockets...vice...spring compressor...maybe a torch??since it's pretty old and maybe rusted...might need to loosen up some bolts...a jack...and maybe a friend that can give you a hand....maybe a cutter if you dont want to bleed the rear brakes....

External spring compressor. You can swap by just losing the top of the sturts. It maybe hard or impossible to remove rear swap bar without cutting it and replace with new one. I cut one and manage to change the spring without removing the sturt in the other. Took about 2 hours each.

i was just wondering since i read somewhere that the upper spring perches and strut mounts from a '90-'99 Celica are needed, otherwise the rears fit just fine.
