I need to get my '91 Celica GTS clutch /flywheel done and am looking for a place in the Los Angeles area that is trusted and resonable in price.
So far the dealer wanted $1100 and one local West LA guy was at $700. I know a mechanic that said anywhere from $400 to $500 is fair at $175 parts and $75 per hour labor but he is in Orange county and i am in West LA.
It chatters on take off and is still drivable but would like to get it fixed.

i thought the 700.00 wasnt too bad, i never go to the dealer, but the 700.00 is a little high, but if the guy does good work it might be worth it.

The big diference was the parts cost. The 700 guy said around 350 for parts but they would be oem or japanese not chinese parts. My 500 dollar guy said 175 for parts.
I also am trying to sort out my bad gas mileage at the same time so this may spead the money a little thin.
