Gen 5 fog lamp question

I traded a guy I know tail lights for fog lights. The only problem is that my car is a 91 GT and the fogs are from a 92 GT. These are the "big" fogs which sit in front of the tires in 92/93 rather than the radiator as in 90/91.

I currently have the Hella Optilux projectors but I'd much rather go to OEM stuff.

The brackets I've seen on ebay for 90/91 look similar to the 92/93 so the question is if someone has been able to mount the "big" fogs in the earlier cars?

They are sort of curvy since they were meant to be at the corners but if they fit I think it should look okay. I just dislike the stock 90/91 style because it is tiny. The light output probably sucks and they look out of proportion with the rest of the car. The "big" ones are way better.
