90-93 Celica 3sgte performance upgrades!

Hey guys I have a 92 celica ST with a 3sgte engine swap already done. I would like to know if anyone has any info on how I should go about modifying my celica so that I can get MAX horsepower. My current goal is to get a 11.0 second 1/4 mile . I was just looking at turbos for my engine and I was told that a GT30R would be good for it. Also can anyone be able to give me a list of some things I should upgrade within my celica so that I can start researching different parts that I can throw in there? So far my current knowledge says that I swap engines, intake, exhaust but where do I go to from there? Any info would be awesome.

an 11 second run............ you better build a brick shithouse bottom end, o ring the block or steel headgasket and put a turbo off a ford diesel on it, then get the gas ax out and start putting your car on a diet

Hyde's MR2 do 11.7 at 22PSI. I think he's still with stock internal. I could be wrong, check his site.
You do need to lighten up the Celica to get to that fast.

theres a big difference between the celica and the mr2.
i would have to say that its alot harder to get those times out of a celica exspecially out of a 4wd just cause of the weight. then youd have to worrie about your tranny and whatever else goes.

Mr2's are lighter, and the fact that their mid engine drive give them a better launch since the engine is sitting close to the rear wheels.

The stock engine internl is capable of 11 sec. Chasis is another issue.
