intercooler piping qn..

Hi guys.. do i really need to get http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

or what else can i use or do and purchase the pipings needed to route the air supply...

go to your local exhaust shop to get the piping and for cuts. You can get plumbing couplers at your local hardware store, and the clamps as well. But for looks you'll have to pay the extra cash, ie polished, painted, etc.

there seems to be like 3 types of material.. ALU, Steel and Stainless Steel...

which is the best to run?

Stainless is probobly the most common as it is economical, aluminum is the lightestes and when polished, its damn purdy, but expensive. You're going ot need mandrel bends, and the couplers and clamps.

get aluminized steel and get it ceramic coated...just get a few bends from a local performance shop..you can even get polished ones...and just do it yourself...you have a 5sfte or 3sgte??

woah... any rough idea on the costs...

well i have a 5sfe... soon to be 5sfte.. most prob gonna spend my whole spring break btw my car and goin down to the beach with some beads...

each bend should run you at around 15 or so and 6 for each couplers...any idea how you're going to run the pipes???

yeah ill be done with my project this weekend..im doing a 5sfte. to i just got the greddy universal kit.. it seems to work out fine.. for the color i just used caliper paint it seems to look good and hold heat..for the fuel pump just use a 1st gen fuel pump and any talon or eclipse fuel injectors. there 450cc. should just slap right on..
