i will be turning 16 and i bought an 87 celica GT-S for 1400.the car is in perfect working cond. it has a new bottom end and the works.i was wondering if they made a short shifter, and where can i find a shift boot for this car.(mines tore)do they make a 50 hp shot NOS kit for this car for when i get a little older?oh where is the turbo located on this car?i was told that the GT-S is a turbo?thanks for any info.

Unless the car has been very modded, you got jacked, GT-S's aren't turbo. Sorry to tell you that. You should probably learn a thing or two about your car before you ask any questions about mods. http://www.howstuffworks.com is pretty cool for learning general basics, for more car specific things, hit some Celica sites.

thanks deep.after i bought it i kinda knew i got jacked.all it needs is a paint job.and my clutch just messed up.it will be another post.

As I recommended to all peeps with that gen celica...

I know Deep (pronounced dIp ) is the resident celica expert....

But Celiboi has that gen celica, and has been through tranny rebuilds, paint issues, engine swaps and clutch upgrades. His celi has been through enough shiat and he and I have worked on those gen celicas (when I had mine as well).

If it's performance and general je-ne-sais-quoi about that car.... try talking to Celiboi. He's usually pretty welcome to those who pick his brain. :grin:
