what i can do with my 3sge 180hp celica 1995 help! i need performance
I'm looking to make a Performance Parts link for the 3S-GE engine 180hp . Does anyone have a secret link that would like to share it with us? Post it here. is for my celica 95
NO lightening the flywheel and adding more air flow will not hurt your top in , the flywheel will be 5-7 lbs lighter, thiers your better reaction and thiers less friction now, at top end, and opening your air flow will force more air into your haed producing better combustion internally>>>weight+air=HP sometimes unless your a honda lol
opening up the airflow reduces top end lets all put duct tape all over our air filters and pinch the tailpipe almost shut The 3sge loves air, do what I did, make an intake with pvc pipe and a rubber hose from an f150 intake, then get an air filter for a newer chevy truck and stick on the end of the pipe, the filter is huge, you might need to put the battery in the trunk for this but you need to do it anyways
NO BIGGIE GUY, im just used to messin with the guys at the shop, we got this kid that seems to know everything , big time , we tear him up on a regular basis
Lighter filywheel will allow the engine to rev faster but both ways, that means that upon acceleration it will rev faster but when engine braking you wont have the same effect as you do now. Why? because the flywheel lost a large part of its mass thus reducing the rotational inertia witch was what made the engine "slow down" when engine braking. Loss of torque also aplies to this principle
