45 degrees

Has anyone tryed or attempted to straighten the engine to a 45 degree angle, so as to reduce friction and oil spread??? i thinking about doing something about this need some ideas !!!

wait, lemme get this right, you want to rotate the engine on the axis of it's crank to get it to 45 degrees? what engine are you talking about, and what would this get you for all that work, (custom motor mounts, re-piped exhaust, etc, etc.)

You'll have higher CG. Probably it won't clear the hood. Why would it reduce friction? And oil is pumped through the cam shafts.

Putting the engine at an angle allow taller engine to fit in a small car with lower CG. It won't affect power, mostly handling. It also shift some of the engine weight to the back.
