USA help with 3s-gte swap

i need help i have a 95 toyota celica gt and i want to swap the engine for a 3s-gte can sum one tell me were i can get that engine if the swap is possiable and also if its possable to change the car from fw to awd i dont have the money to imort a gt4

I can do that swap for you. I just swapped a 2ZZGE into a '98 Corolla for a guy that lives in CT. I can also source that engine for you out of Montreal without a problem.

The engine should run about $1500. The labor for the swap will be around $800. You can't convert it to AWD, it would actually be cheaper to import a GT4.

You can either use your stock tranny, or use a Camry V6 tranny which is stronger, along with the MR2 Turbo tranny, but that needs to be modified a little.

yea he's rite. it cheap to import a celica gtfour instead of doing a awd swap. well the engine run about 1-3k for the engine or the front clip. u should check out ebay..

I was posting what I found on a few clicks, but those were available also. Just none on Autotrader ATM. Just saying you don't have to import one, they were sold here.

My bad, Just looked it up that 93 was the last us year. What about canada? Were they available there? Personally I'd rather have a 93 anyway.

Nope, never came to North America

I personally like the Gen 5 as well... I have a think for popup headlights I think... LOL

IM starting to Be a Rep for a JDM wharehouse company in Northern Houston TX
There are 2 ST185 Clips in stock currently
1 is in Perfect condition they want $2400 for it
the Hood alone you can resell for $700 cuz its a JDM alltrac hood.
and the front bumper is in perfect condition as well
Clip is in White

now the 2nd white clip has passenger front corner damage as well as to the hood
But the Motor is In perfect shape as well They're willing to sell that for $2200 or maybe $2000

Also have 2 GenII 3SGTE motors with wireing harness, ECU and trannys for sale
