You need a manual transmission, the center console piece from a manual celica, the shifting linkage, and the shifter to begin with. You may also need a ECU from a manual celica. It is a lot of work that probably isn't worth it if you are just doing it to to do.

Oh, i forgot all about the clutch. you'll have to get that working as well. If you are good at doing major engine work then it won't be that difficult. If it needs the manually tuned ECU and you don't change it the car will not run correctly. You are going to have to take the whole front end of the car apart. If you are comfortable doing that and have lots of time to work on it it will be mostly a problem of getting things to fit right.

You'll need the tranny, clutch kit, flywheel, clutch lines, clutch cylinder, clutch slave, clutch pedal, various speed sensors, shift linkages, and shifter assembly. It's a straight-foreward conversion. You install the flywheel and clutch, you install the manual tranny, the shift linkages, the shifter, plug in needed sensors and set-up the hydraulic system. I believe even the holes for the clutch cylinder are pre-drilled.

WHICH MEANS MORE MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET HUH... damn it all to hell. its cool then, I found another celica that is five speed. GT-S, but the problem is the synchro or the clutch needs replacement. which when i get the car i will give you the real symptoms of the car. $2500 isnt bad right?
