any oil in your intake? if you are burning oil out, get a catch can. if you're still burning after that, then your turbo seals are bad. also, if you really want to know, take the turbo off the car, and spin the shaft, one hand on each side. see how much play there is. the less, the better.

does your boost gauge behave as it always has, or is it not showing as much?
basically, why do you think it's your turbo?

My boost gauge reads very little boost. I took the intake off and there is oil in the intake and play in the shaft.

it is common for an older turbo (assuming yours is stock) to have a little shaft play, especially if you never had a bov/bpv. you should get a catch can, and see how much it fills. if there is a ton, then it is definately time to look at a new turbo... a rebuild will run around 300 dollars, but this would be a good excuse to get a new turbo... the ct27/tdo6 make good upgrades for gt4's

when your on boost does it smoke alot out the tailpipe? Thats a clear indication that your turbo seals are toast...

There is not a lot of smoke coming out the tailpipe.

Where is a good place to get a new turbo.
