Celica Gts or Corolla Gts

:o
I will buy a car soon~!
This time, it is my own car, but I want a little suggestions from you guys

1990 Corolla Gts or 1990 Celica Gts ?
Which one is better?
Which one has more potential for further upgrade? (like putting performance parts)

Which car's parts are cheaper??

thx if there's any reply~!

Corolla is cheaper, handles better and has better aftermarket support.

Celica is better looking, has more room, and has more luxuries.

It all depends on who you ask

If you ask a Celica person, they'll say definitely a Celica, if a Corolla, they definitely prefer a Corolla. Two things in common, they are Toyotas and they both begin with a 'C'.

I have always liked the 90 celica but since I purcjased my Corolla GT-S and have drivin both cars I would take the Corolla GT-S over early 90s' Celicas. The 90 corolla GT-S came with more Horsepower than my 88 so it should be even more fun to drive.

It's a tough question. I think the Corolla looks good.. with larger wheels.. Pretty cool car.. but only looks good with the painted bumpers and matching sideskirts (well looks way better)

Nice car. But the Celica 1990 was way more modern looking.

Both have pop-up headlights though..

I'd obviously suggest the Corolla GTS. But I know some people are suggesting a Celica. Take them both for a test drive and decide according to your preference...

Good luck..

Hmmm... I have a Celica ST 1991. It runs beautiful (then again, what Toy doesn't). But, I'd have to go with a Corolla.
