any known problems with 94-97 celicas?

i'm a newbie here and i'm not really sure where to post this actually, but this look like the right place.

i'm 18, i'm just about to get my lisence next week. i came across a 95 celica, and talked to the guy and it all checks out, it's in pretty good condition with only 85,000 miles on it. he kept up with the oil changes and all that. the interior is nice, and the exterior body is in great shape with a fresh paint job. i had my dad check it out and he agrees that it's a good car. he also has a friend has worked for jmLexus/Toyota for about 17 years now. he's going to ask his opinion about the car and about the lifestyle of the celica 94-97 year.

so basicly what i'm asking, for my own opinion, i'd like to ask you guys. is there any known problems with the 94-97 years of the celica. it's just a stock automatic tranny and everything. but do any of you know any reason why i shouldn't buy the car?

i appreciate all that look at this. thank you all for your time.

my only suggestion is; hold out for a manual, you will enjoy it way more. other than that, it sounds good.
