He said there was no 4WD and 4WS Celica, which there wasn't.

There was a 4WD and a 4WS, but never both on the same car.

4WS was never sold in North America though, neither was any model with Super-strut suspension.

Feel the celica love in here, wow, 4ws is awesome around town and stuff, but once you get over 30kmh it turns off, theres a system somewhere around the front tires that if lift out of the way, it leaves it on......dangerous but fun.

4ws isnt dangerous at all. the rear tires dont turn NEARLY as much as the fronts.

the older preludes made some SERIOUS track time improvements with 4ws.

the ONLY 2 flaws were added parts maintenance, and weight.

Yes, 4ws is very good... added with fwd(not 4wd) it just about pointless, its one of those "HEY LOOK AT ME" thins. As far as dangerous in the right hands its good, but in an average driver not always. IDK if you have driven a fwd/4ws car but if u get oversteer it is far from fun. IMO 4ws only belongs on 4wd cars. (loved it on my 3000gt)

Ya maintenance is some bs, good luck finding rear cv axles anywhere else but the dealer.(cv's for my 3000 ran $580 each)
