battery light on when starting in morning

been having a problem with my battery light coming on whenever i start my 90 celica gt-s in the morning. this only occurs when i start my car for the first time of the day and goes away as i rev my engine a bit or after the car warms up for sometime. initially i thought the battery would be the problem but this happened this morning after i got a brand new optima yellow top that i put in last night. i would be more concerned if the light stayed on throughout driving but it hasn't. my own possible solutions to this might be a blown fuse or bad alternator. anyone have any thoughts on this?

bad alternator or ics ..... take your car to an alternator shop or stereo place and they can check how many amps it's putting out, it's seems low your alt is on the way out, if it seems good i say the ics is acting up
