gen 3 3sge extractors

hi guys! im from over on the camry forum! i am planning to put a gen 3 3sge into my sv21 camry, and i understand these motors came in celicas so i thought u guys might know best. my question is regarding the extractors for that motor... can anyone tell me their size (diameter piping etc) or even a part number?

and also would it bolt onto a 3sfe? or is that a waste of time..... i ask this as i wouldnt mind getting it for now and putting it in my car (in order to save costs down the track...dont want to buy extractors fro the 3sfe then hafta go buy another set for the new motor).

Originally i was going to buy extractors for the 3sfe, then use them on the new motor, but from my understanding the gen3 3sge has much bigger ports so that prob wouldnt work.

Thanks in advance

it will fit fine, im thinking of doing it myself.

but the 3SGE header is a 4-2-1, as you probably know, so you will have to have a shop make you a Y-pipe to go from the 2-1 part.

doing this will also eliminate your catayltic converter, so you need to think about that too.

cool! i knew about that it was 4-2-1 but i didnt know about the cat. thanks for that!
i currently have a 2" cat back exhaust.
what diameter exhaust did the gen3 3sge come with? will my 2" be suitable?

coz if not i am thinking about getting a second exhaust (like jetspeedcamry) on the other side of my car. do you think it possible to instead of getting a y-pipe, mating an exhaust to each of the ends? so it becomes 4-2-exhausts. (the second exhaust would be 2" as well). i could probably ask the exhaust shop to somehow incorporate cats into the setup so i dont get into trouble with epa.

i'm in adelaide

i dunno what they're worth but i'm asking $300 at the moment

i'll put this ad on the general marketplace too
