Ran off a cliff and still runs like a charm.

Yes, the title is not decieving. I honest to all that is holy drove off a cliff accidently when my car fishtailed on a twisty road after a rain. True, it was only about 100 ft down and there was a ridge that I landed on, so i didn't quite go all the way down, but still I really thought it was enough to make me seek out a few thousand in repairs.

But amazingly I got away with sore arms and legs, only a few scratches to the front of the car (I went nose first and it ate up that dirt when it came crashing to the ground) and the muffler cracked more or less in half. Well, actually that raises my question. What should I look for to see if something's wrong? I drove the thing home from the incident after it was towed back up and emptied my checking account for it. It was only louder from the muffler's damage and I'm not positive, but i think my suspension is actually performing even better now... I also looked under the car and since it was soft ground, there was pretty much only dirt and tall grass to pull out. Like I said, though. There's no knocking, no strange driving manner (beyond the worn steering rod pinions causing a wobble in the car that I've had for a few months...), and it's not overheating or anything out of the ordinary. Should I even bother having a look at anything? In the two days since it's happened, I've noticed nothing.

Edit: One more thing. I forgot to mention it landed on all fours and there was no rolling or flipping.

Thanks for any help.
Sarstan.

check your suspension, make sure your sturts and what not are ok and just give it a lil visual over look, like the RSB and drive axals

What's so funny is that the suspension runs so much smoother now. There's a bump on a street neaby and it kind of makes me car bounce up and down before it bottoms out. I drove it twice now and both times it goes over it very smoothly. And no crazy rocking afterward or anything. Nothing's leaking. I've driven it for almost a week now, city streets, highway, etc, and no problems other than a loud, almost more attractive growl from my car (muffler's out if I haven't said it 20 times already). From what I've seen, it's doing good though. I'll have to raise it up tomorrow morning since I don't have work for a good while and just double check that it is indeed doing well. Thanks for the ideas.
