Crank Up Problem

I tried to crank up my engine to go class today but it wouldn't start. So, I walked to my campus. I thought the starter could be the problem, but, when i tried to start it again in about 1 hour, it started.
And then, I left it sit for 10 more mins before i cranked it up again. Surprisingly, it worked perfectly fine.

I don't think it's the battery because all the lights were on when i turned the key.
I got the starter checked at Autozone and it's in near perfect condition.
What could be the problem?

Gentlemen, this happened to me twice already.
Please help.
Thank you all.

DAVE

i would have the battery tested. just because you have the lights on doesnt mean that it has enough power to turn over the starter. you can have that done at your local auto shop. how old is the battery?

also check for corrosion on the battery terminals and make sure your ground wire off the battery isnt covered in corrosion. ive had that happen all to many times!

I think it could be the battery connection then. At first, I thought that wouldn't be the problem because the lights were all on. But, i think somebody just cleared things up for me. I'll try to have them changed.
