i sent him/her money for a 3sgte twin entry exhaust manifold and heat sheild and he/she said he/she got the money via paypal and would ship it out and email me when shipped. I have had no other mesg from him/her since, even though ive tried to contacted him/her via PM and email numerous times.
I ask first because i dont want to post a negative comment on that buyer seller rating section. Does anyone know know him/her personally? or know if he/she is ok?
PM read. Thanks you guys. Im glad hes got homies up in this joint. I read through some of this threads and figured he was a good guy so i figured id post this up.
Hopfully this will all be sorted out. thanks bunch to all.
Craig I sent out your exhaust manifold and heat shield a while back. I do have the tracking number of it somewhere, I'll send it to you when I email you personally in a few minutes.
Sorry about not responding to emails, PM's, and posts I've been without a computer for about a month now. Im taking this oppurtunity to reply to posts and PM's that I have missed over the past weeks.
To those who are waiting on parts from me you should have all recieved your items by now but if not email me and I'll respond with a tracking number and the status of your item. I had a co-worker contact those that I knew where expecting from me notifing them of my situation. Thank you to everyone for being so patient with me.
I recived a 3sgte tiwn entry manifold as well as a heat sheild, but i have to say i was a great deal disapointed at what i got. The pix u sent me previously are not of the parts that i now have laying in my room. The exhaust manifold is missing studs off the turbo end and the heat sheild is in horible shape, its rusted and unlike the pix u sent me has much of its paint worn off.
One of the reason y i bought the parts from you was because u supplied me with pix of a maifold and a heat sheild that looked nice. Second was mainly cus the heat sheild was in good shape in the pic. The sheild i have now, however is in need of a great deal of work as well as paint.
I was wondering what happened? Perhaps u sent me the rong set of parts. I can take pix of the parts i have if u would like to compare them with the pix that u sent me previously.
I did send out another exhaust manifold and heat sheild the same time I sent yours out, it is possible I got the lables switched. In any case you should replace all turbo studs/nuts anytime you disassemble the engine, I can offer to send you new ones. The heat shield is exactly that a heat shield and not a cosmetic peice, its job is to prevent the radiant heat coming off the turbo from burning your hood liner and hood, as well as keeping the rad from getting to hot. It also retains the heat where it should be at the turbo. Due to the placement, material and function of this piece most do not stay looking new forever. Im not sure which picture I sent you...I use a general picture for items such as these cause I sell alot of them and dont have the time to take pictures of ever individual one. Agian it could be I got the lables switched, in either case you recieve what you wanted, no? Minus a few studs and a dirty heat shield. Not trying to sound arogant about the situation but like I said I can offer to send you some new studs/nuts and a can of paint for the heat shield if that will rectify the problem. IIRC the agreement was that you payed for the exhaust manifold and I would throw in the heat shield for free.
Yeah, Allblack is a good guy. I bought an ecu off him. He sent it when he got the chance, which was pretty quick. It was the wrong part, though, but it was due to MY ignorance, not his.
