One part two names

I need a cold start injector time switch. It is also called a water temperature sensor.
The first one is shown on page FL198 and the second on page FL208 of my factory manual.
No wonder the parts guy couldn't find it, I was calling it a water temp sensor and their computer says its a cold start time switch. Anyway its 125 dollars new. Now if I can just find one at a junk yard for a 5S-FE '91 celica GT-S.
What a pain this has been. Anyway once I get it I hope it helps my warm start issue.

HUH...? I've always known it by the name of water temperature sensor, I even asked for that part with that same name when I had to replace mine.

There are three parts that screw into that area but the one that screws in from the front is the one that is no good and it is shown twice in the factory manual as mentioned. There probably is a water temp sensor on there too.

Whatever the thing is called I was able to get one from the junk yard off of a MR2 with the same part # for $25
It did not help my warm engine hard start though darn it.
I also had the engine light coming on and then later it turned off but this happened before replacing the said item. I recently had to replace a vacuum part too and hope this has cured it. 7 1 7 1 etc was the California code.
