Question friendly race with me and my cousin

i was wondering what the outcome would be..

i have an automatic 2000 celica gt with a ingen short ram intake and a 3" straight through style muffler with about a 50 lbs box with my subs

and my cousin and i was wondring who would win in a friendly straight line race

he drives a 5-speed 85 n/a mr2... rebuilt engine, 2.5" high flow cat and magnaflow exhaust system, and a home made short ram intake

so yeah...

My bet is on the celica...Old school mr2's arent that fast, like 8-9 sec 0-60. Now on a twisty course, if that guy knows how to drive, he'd hand your ass back to you on a platter, but straight line is not was 2's are good for.

so it wouldnt really matter if i was an automatic with an extra 50 lbs and he was a 5 speed right? i was predicting he would have me off the line but i would soon catch up.

^yea, that sounds about right.
