im looking to buy a celica and i came across a 1990gt it for sale. It has 265K on the body and about 100k on the motor because they had a new one put in. Its a 5spd and just had a new clutch put in about a year ago. im in canada anybody know aprx value of what this should be worth? Or anything i should look out for when i go take a look at it? im pretty new to cars so any adivce id be happy with thx

how's the body??look for rusts..specially under the body...check for leaks..see if brakes are good..find out what it needs to be fixed to get certified...take it for a test drive see how it runs.....if u feel or hear anything unusual..dont go for it..

thats the car there and their asking 1100 for it. Are their any particular parts i should check to be in tact that might be very expensive to fix?

check the under body for rust..............rust is the probably the biggest killer...power steering tends to leak.....

Check the carpet inside for water spot. Floor pan tends to rust through. Then with a 15 years old things will need to be replace.
