Canada Looking to buy a 1990-1992 Celica..

My dad has concerns with buying such an old car, but the insurance is way cheaper on this car than my 1996 Camry so I want to know if they are still good @ high KMs.

Mine is at 225 and still pulls like a freight train. As long as its the 5sfe and it hasnt been abused, it will be fine. They're tough engines.

find about 120.000 miles and make sure there is no oil leaks engine, trans , p steering, most ly at this mileage has oil leaks, this car GT with2.2 engine are reliable, it's a good choice too, I have 1990 and 1992 hatchback. good luck

My 1990 with 5SFE is still going well at 250,000 Km. Just make sure the timing belt has been changed, otherwise everything seems to last well.
