Planning On Buying A Celica...

Planning on buying a 2nd hand 94-99 6th gen celica...

is there any common problems or stuff i should look for in this generation celica?
which is the best year to get? there are a lot of 94s for sale right now. I was leaning towards 96-99s because they are slightly different than the 94-95s.
any other things i should watch out for with these specific year celicas?

I would definitly go GT, they had more power and if you want to do a 3S swap you can reuse the tranny and mounts. 96+ GT came standard with ABS, plus the GT comes with 4 wheel disk brakes. The only problem i've run into with my '96 GT is the third gear synchro is weak, but that's pretty much it.

so 94 and 95 gt didn'ty come with abs standard? but 94 and 95 gt comes wif 4 wheel disk brake standard rite?

since 94 is the 1st year of this generation of celica and 96 is the first year of the revised version would it be better to get 95 or 97-99 or are the 94 and 96 ok as well/

Click here on the differences between the ST and GT. There's also differences between the motors and other stuff.
