I want a GT4 sooooo sooooo bad. does anyone know where i should be looking? i tried autotrader but soon realized that i would never find one there!!!! i prefer the '90 - '93's best. thanks
really the only way you are going to find one is by looking in every classified section you can get your hands on, and be willing to travel a good ways. look on autotrader online and set the distance range high, better chances of finding one. Or look on Ebay
and look for All-Trac's, not GT4's. you are not in japan, they are called All-Tracs here.

Holy crap! I was going to say that finding one in my area is hard. But this one is in Downers Grove. That's like 15 miles from me!
But originally I was going to say, it's hard to find one in most areas. My brother lives in L.A. and he says that he sees more All Tracs there than anywhere else. I guess that makes sense. I guess L.A. would be a good place to search. But who knows? You might get lucky and some old guy down the street (that doesn't know what it is) has one and wants to get rid of it for cheap.
I don't think you'll ever find some old man who doesn't know what the car is. You don't buy an All-trac Celica just because. Thats what the other Celica's are for.
as they say s*** happens haha here is another question for yall. what years do you prefer oppose to another year and why... is there anything special i should be looking for? help me out guyes.....
Pineapple - Not true, they are very different cars, for a start they have different versions of the 3sgte engine.
This is very ture, the 4gen IC is Water cool and the 5gen are Air cool.. and other different specs... but one think to remember (and I own a 4gen alltrac so I know that im taking about) they break alot, so you better know you way around cars and have some kind of back up ride.. but all in all notting beats owning one.

Unless he looking into swap, the engine only differ in HP for him. Of course that is why 4th gen is so cheap. Also we don't get as many engine as other part of the world
Well there`s a bit more to it than simply different HP ratings of the engines but to be honest who cares I got a 6th Gen hehe. shame for you guys that you didnt get the 6th Gen GT4, tell you what, I`ll have to drive my`n more to make up for it....Yey
actually there are alot of differences, and if you plan on making power on one, they start to get pretty important. i own a second gen, with an aftermarket downpipe. what does this mean for me? well, at every oil change, i either have to pull the alternator, or the intercooler and turbo heat shield. not my idea of a fun time. the last all trac has the oil filter on the bottom of the block, much easier!
anyways here are the differences i know of, between the second and the last generation: improved intake manifold, better fuel rail (some cylinders will lean out at a certain point)
that oil filter, MAYBE bigger injectors, not sure on that one, higher boost, best intercooler of series (water-air) no afm, it is map sensor based. so different ecu, too. higher fuel cut to go with boost, as well. metal head gasket, i believei also don't know, but i suspect they all came with torsen rear lsd's. beyond that, i'm not sure...
the extra power is attributed to more boost, basically. its just a little bit safer.
i really don't like that big wing on that 6th... i'd rather have that t3/t4 that is coming... mmmmm booost. mmm blown head gasket. don't worry insanity, i'll drive mine even more to make up for us in the western hemisphere.
