USA 86 Celica GT (? Pick up Coil?)

I have a 86 Celica GT
I believe I may have a pick up coil problem.
Sometimes my car will run for days then my car will stop running while I am going 60 mph down the freeway. It seems that when the car cools it will run again. Or if I keep the rpms up it will not stop running.
I have purchased two new pick up coils but their resistance is in the 240's (mine on the car is in the high 180's) so I returned them.
Can anyone please tell me where I can purchase a quality pick up coil or is my problem somewhere else.
thank you.
