a turbo 5sfe is refered to as a 5sfte...

a turbo manifold off a 3sgte (MR2 Turbo/Celica Alltrac) will bolt right up, except the 3sgte manifold has an extra space for another bolt, but you dont have to use it...

the pros are more power..

cons are you need WAY more parts than just a turbo, and it must be tuned properly, and your engine might need work, if you wanna run higher boost levels..

also LOTS AND LOTS $$$$$..

it isnt impossible, it's just not cheap..

this has been discussed MANY times before, so try useing the search function if you have any more questions, if you cant find what you're looking for during a search, then feel free topost..

just 1 example..

Great post.

You got the "search" part in there while still leaving some info for the next guy who actually does the search!

Another great place to check for info on the "5sfte" is www.6gc.net since lots of those guys turbo them.
