hey 90celicaGT-S.. the first time you drive at night after replacing the lights you'll be wondering how you ever survived without them hehe I ended up replacing the lights in both my cars and in my honda fireblade too.

Most of those "diamond" cut lights on ebay are a rip off. First off, almost all are illegal. They are not dot approved. Second, they are dim as hell. They only seem brighter because any upgrade from a plain 6054 is like night and day. My friend has a pair. You can't see crap with them. The only time I would buy a diamond cut is if you plan to retrofit a projector in there for HID applications (because the glass is clear on the housing).

Get a good brand that is e-code. This includes the Hella 6054->H4 conversion and the Bosch conversion. Costs $90 CDN up here in Canada. You can tell it's e-code if there's a circle with an "E" + number inside. E-code (E for European) is so much better then the glaring DOT standard that is North America.

Don't waste your money on sealed silverstars. They're too expensive and don't last as long. Just get the housing instead. As well, just about *any* tinted bulb is a.) dimmer than a regular bulb and b.) don't last as long. And this includes the Silverstars. I believe the brightest ones available are the Nighthawks from GE (I think).

clem..
