Diamond headlights

The 89 GT I've got has the original stock headlights and I hate them because I can't get very bright lights because I have to change out the whole housing, not just the light. I saw some Diamond Cut headlights that could replace my housing and then i would just have to replace the headlights, but I don't know if they're cheap or stupid parts. Can you guys let me know if they are and if these diamond cut headlights are worth the trouble? Also, if you have any advice on how I can get past this problem and possibly which lights I could get that are the brightest but still street legal, please let me know. Thank you guys.

SilverStar are much better. I have them and love them. Much brighter and better light pattern.

either way, i say change the housing out for semi-sealed units and buy the bulbs separately. that way youre always free to make changes easily if you feel like having different lights .

Looking good. Only one quick question. Will these diamond cut lights fit in place of my current sealed healights?? The reason I ask is that they say it's 7X6 but mine are 71/4 X 5.9. My car is the old body style of the 80s. Do you think they'll fit still??

Also, can I buy these exact two items that you mentioned in your post?? The reason I ask is because in the description it says it's for a suzuki. I didn't know if I can buy them and they'll fit my 89 Celica GT. Thanks for your help.

Do these lights require any kind of wiring at all?

Well, the lights look exactly the same as the stock (koito) ones when they are off. when on, the light spread is slightly different but not really a big deal, the main thing is that you have the option to use different bulbs and get a different colour light. When choosing your bulbs, remember that the number on the front (in K) isnt how powerful it is, its actually more related to the colour of the light (its warmth). Over here the lights arent legal, so you have to be careful. i tried 6000K bulbs, they are ok but they blind the oncoming traffic a lot and therefore cops will pull you over. Now i have 4200K bulbs, from inside the car you get just as much visibility, they look good and they dont blind the other motorists.
