is it susposed to look that way?!?!?!

hey guys recently i got some new(stock) wheels and tires and knowticed that the rear of my '91 ST is sitting lower than the front. about an inch actually and it looks pretty queer!!! i decided i would do the suspension test and it looks like it has to much bounce, as where the front has none. so my question is .... if my rear suspension is bad, will it make my car sit lower? any imput helps.

Remember what it looked like when you got it? If the suspension was good then probably something like that.

if your struts are completely blown then you could be just riding in the springs.

i bought it used and never checked the rear shocks but i think they have been bad for a while. im looking into lowering it and i would like it to look the same from front to rear but i realize that it may not happen that way. i was just wondering if anyone knew if there stock ST sits lower in the rear than the front.....

If your car is standard then the jacking points on your car should be the same height, if you have upgraded suspension then usually the front `drop` is more than the rear so the back will sit higher, make sure you have a full tank of gas and nothing stored in your car that could effect the balance before measuring again.

Internally busted dampers should have no effect on the ride height of your car as they have no effect on that, they will stay where you put them ie have no springs inside. check that your springs are located correctly and have no overlap on their locating points (if it has them) and make sure the springs arnt broken. (they can snap sometimes but very rare these days). Have a jump up and down in the trunk, maybre the car just has to re-settle after you`ve worked on it, if its still the same in a week or two then I`d look into it further.
